Copleston High School is a popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive noted for its caring and disciplined atmosphere. It was judged as a ‘good school‘ by Ofsted in January 2018.  As a school we are committed to raising standards of learning and teaching within all subject areas.  Applicants will be impressed by the behaviour, ethos and outcomes of students across the school.

We are looking for a specialist Business Studies and Economics teacher to join an experienced and exceptional team. Business Studies is the most popular subject at A-Level at Copleston Sixth Form with over 100 students across Year 12 and 13 and outstanding results, delivering the Edexcel A-Level syllabus. Economics is an established course with excellent results, delivering the AQA A-Level syllabus.

The successful applicant should have either the experience or the potential to raise standards and attainment in both Business Studies and Economics. As a team member you will be supported to develop outstanding classroom practice with high aspirations for staff and students. Through your passion for learning you will develop new and creative ideas, embedding an enjoyment of your subject into lessons.
