Copleston High School

Parental Visits

Choosing a secondary school is a very important process for parents and children alike. At Copleston High School we hold an Open Evening during October to which all prospective pupils and parents are invited.

We hope our website together with our Prospectus will give you any further information that you need to make your decision. However if you have been unable to visit the school at Open Evening or would like a further visit, please contact the school and we will arrange for you to be shown around. Please telephone the school for an appointment. Alternatively,  write or e-mail the school using our contact page.

Admissions Policy

Copleston High school is an academy.  Transfer arrangements for Year 6 students moving into Year 7 are conducted, on our behalf, by Suffolk County Council.  Prospective parents must follow their identified procedures when applying for places for new intakes.  Details of the school's catchment area can be obtained from the school or the Local Education Authority.  As a guide, our main feeder primary schools are Britannia, Broke Hall, Clifford Road, Rose Hill, St John's and Sidegate Lane.

Mid-year applications will be handled directly by the school.  Please complete Form ADM1 which can be found on our website.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
