IYear 10 work experience will be taking place 19th – 23rd June 2023.
If required, your child may work on Saturday 24th June, but should have a day off in lieu during the week.
Students are expected to find their own work experience placements and are advised to ask friends and family and to enquire with businesses in their local area.
They will need the name and email address of the person offering them a placement.
The placement then needs to be added to the placements tool on Unifrog. Please click on the links at the bottom of this page for guidance on how to do this.
If your child is unable to find a placement, please contact Mrs Witting email@example.com
Sign in to Unifrog here and go to the Placements Tool to add your work experience placement details.
Year 10 students last completed work experience in June 2019, and we had a lot of positive feedback about the students during their time at their placements.
Below is some of the positive feedback we have had.
“She really became one of the team and used her initiative remarkably well… we are missing her support this week!”
“Very adaptable and approachable. Shows maturity beyond his years”
“She has been enthusiastic and grown in confidence over the 2 weeks.”
“He was invited back multiple times to help with an online project which he carried out with enthusiasm and confidence.”
“Both her parents and her school should be very proud to send this capable and social lady out in to the world.”
